But where does the word come from? 
The origin of the word OK (Okay) dates back to the Civil War. Every night the report mentioned the deaths of the day if there were none, O K. was written (o killed: zero killed).

  1. I love this movie! Who has allready see it? It's so funny! I have to see it again!"OKAY" is such a simple and usual word that everybody use today. But in the movie "jacouille" who comes from the middle age never use and know how to use this word.The way that he pronounces it, speaking hight makes everytime the situation so funny!

  3. How interesting! I had no idea that such a common word that we use nowadays had such serious origins. I wonder what other words we use originally came from dark origins.

  5. Woah c'est très interéssant! J'ai pensé que le mot "OK" a été juste un mot d'argot pour le mot "okay" parce que nous l'utilisons presque tous les jours.
